The Godmother of Soul' joins the Nashville Symphony for one special evening of her greatest hits, arranged specially with extra orchestral sparkle and lead by the ensemble's Assistant Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yanez.
The celebrated songstress first broke into the music industry as the front woman of vocal group Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles in the early 60s, the group with which she later released immortal Disco boogy Lady Marmalade. Following the outfit's break up in 1976, she crafted a long and successful solo career with hit songs like You Are My Friend, If You Only Knew and New Attitude.
