Gilbert and Sullivan's seafaring tale makes port!
The sultry streets of Seville come to life in Georges Bizet's iconic Carmen. One of the most recognizable operas in the canon, this sizzling tale of lust and betrayal runs the gamut from passionate romance to tragedy, belayed by Bizet's unforgettable score. Directed by John Hoomes and conducted by Dean Williamson, this blockbuster production stars the excellent Marina Costa Jackson as the titular Carmen.
All aboard! Gilbert and Sullivan's delightful comedic tale about OTT nationalism, personal ambition, and forbidden love roving amongst the social classes of British society and the Royal Navy first premiered in London in 1878, making it the duo's fourth collaboration, and their first international sensation. Don't miss it as it sails into a venue near you!
