The cherished Steven Spielberg science fiction movie, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, is coming to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville! Released in 1982, the multi-award-winning movie tells the story of an alien who is left behind on earth and the young boy who befriends him. The movie will be projected onto a giant HD screen and accompanied by the Nashville Symphony orchestra as they perform the iconic score written by Academy Award-winning John Williams, and will be directed by Enrico Lopez-Yanez. Lopez-Yanez leads the orchestra in its Pop Series and other special programming as the Principal Pops Conductor. Witness his well-renowned and unique audience engagement style as you watch the E.T. in concert!
