Why See Lily Allen?
Lily is back!
One of the UK's most outspoken performers is back from her hiatus and ready to bring her unique brand of outrageously confessional electro-pop state-side! Her fourth studio album 'No Shame' marks Allen's first album since 2014s nod to Kanye, hit album 'Sheezus'. The upcoming album sees Allen addressing the end of her marriage, motherhood and her hard-partying reputation.
Since storming onto the scene in 2007 with smash hit single 'Smile', Lily Allen has come to deserve a place with the divas she name checks on 'Sheezus'. She talks directly to young women (and men) and reminds them that life isn't all about looking good, but feeling good too. Her subjects are universal, regardless of their musical setting, though her experimentation has proved her staying power. From the retro stylings of her earlier records, to the pop infused work with Mark Ronson, Pink and more, she is always relevant, and her sarcastic wit makes any night out to see her worthwhile.
Performance date: 18 October 2018
