Oregon indie band STRFKR have never taken themselves too seriously. Originally started as Joshua Hodges' solo project in 2007, the band's 2013 self-titled album propelled them into the scene, and they have continued to release critically acclaimed albums ever since. While their lyricism often explores the darker side of life, their upbeat, danceable brand of pop music is the complete opposite. Some of their best-known songs include "Golden Light", "Never Ever", "Open Your Eyes" and "While I'm Alive".
