Nashville Ballet bring Peter and the Wolf to TPAC

Prokofiev's symphonic fairytale is brought to life by the Nashville Ballet in a production for all the family to enjoy. Written in 1936, Peter and the Wolf tells the tale of young boy, his animal friends and their encounter with a wolf in the forest. 

The tale was written with the intention of introducing children to the instruments of the orchestra, with each animal accompanied by a particular instrument and theme while a narrator tells the story. Expect a performance full of colour and cheer for an audience of all ages from the Nashville Ballet, Tennessee's largest professional ballet company.
