The Shins began as a side project for singer/songwriter, James Mercer. The Shins have toured across The US, The UK, and Europe. They've appeared on numerous radio and TV shows; include Saturday night Live, The Conan O'Brien Show, Late Night with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show.

The Shins are an American indie rock band founded and fronted by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, James Mercer. Formed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, The Shins are now based in Portland, Oregon. Their 2012 tour takes them across the USA and Europe to promote their latest and fourth studio album, Port of Morrow, which they released in March this year.
