Trisha Yearwood Makes Her Nashville Symphony Debut
The Nashville Symphony and its Assistant Conductor Encrico Lopez-Yanez welcome bonafide Country superstar Trisha Yearwood to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center stage this fall! Making her Nashville Symphony debut, Yearwood delves into fully-orchestrated renditions of songs that made her career including She's In Love With The Boy, The Song Remembers When and Believe Me Baby (I Lied), as well as selections from her 2018 Frank Sinatra tribute compilation and 2019 album Every Girl.
Easily one of the biggest female country stars of the 90s, Yearwood moved to Nashville with stars in her eyes and a solid plan. After studying a music business degree, she interned at MTM records where she sang BVs and recorded her own demo tapes. After befriending and recording with a young Garth Brookes (whom she later married), his endorsement secured her breakthrough connections in the industry. Not one to rest on her laurels, she released her self-titled debut album in 1991 and was immediately met with top of the charts, platinum certified success. The rest, as they say, is musical history.
