Gary Gulman Poster

Gary Gulman

January 25, 2020

The Last Comic Standing finalist from season 2 has since become a fully fledged comic in his own right, garnering critical acclaim for his DVDs and touring work. Known for his surreal observations on everyday situations, Gulman has held a myriad of jobs throughout his twenty years trying to break into the big time; barista, waiter, doorman, accountant and even a school scholarship football player. A gigantic six-foot, six-inch Bostonian, he has also performed on television comedy shows including Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman and John Oliver.

The beloved Julie Andrews-led children's movie turned on-stage smash hit musical Mary Poppins flies happily into the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in the spring of 2020. Helping the Nashville Repertory Theatre to celebrate their 35th anniversary, the ebullient family-friendly production brings thrilling story-telling and host of familiar characters to the stage in a whirlwind of song, dance and good cheer.

Self-described as "your favorite high functioning hot mess", social media star turned one-woman comedy tour de force Heather McMahon has fast become the poster girl for the kind of gal that finds the humor in everyday things. From PMS to Trader Joe's to her love for the sunset-colored Aperol Spritz cocktail, the mundanities of life turn into sparkling nuggets of comedy gold in the hands of this funnywoman. Don't miss her when she hits US shores on her hilariously titled Farewell Tour this winter (it's her first tour).

April 16, 2020

Every couple of weeks, Gareth Reynolds and Dave Anthony explore an historical titbit on their podcast The Dollop. They're not interested in history's grand sweeping narratives, rather those stories which you'll struggle to believe are true, featuring some of the greatest weirdos, charlatans and bad-asses that the world has ever seen. Catch them live as the take the Dollop around the country.

Lewis Black Poster

Lewis Black

April 17 - 18, 2020

The twice Grammy-winning Lewis Black is the perfect demonstration of that rare comic, who can cause you to laugh while making compelling points about the absurdity of the world around you. Famed for his angry persona on both stage and cable, including The Daily Show as a special, albeit enraged special guest. Hi frequent trademarks include comedic yelling and animated finger-pointing as he skewers everything and anybody that grinds his gears.
