Amazing!

From the moment the band and Chrissy hit the stage, the crowd stood up and pretty much stayed standing the entire show. Vocally spot on with an incredible band, the Ryman got properly rocked!!!!!

Saw the Pretenders at the Ryman Monday night and it was of the top shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Chrissy was spot on and the band as tight as it gets. Thank you girlfriend for bringing the energy to this great venue

If you get a chance to see the Pretenders; just do it! Her voice is amazing! The show is non stop entertainment! I go to a lot of concerts and this is one you do not want to miss! Love the Uptown and Hamburger Mary’s!

Pretenders at Tanglewood

5/5
Mark Crosby from East Providence RI

Wow! At 73 Hynde can still bring it! Her voice hasn’t changed a bit and it might be better now. The band was stellar. Lead guitar was James Waurburn (spelling?) and he was outstanding. Played one guitar all night and his tone and sound were fantastic.

Rocking

I saw them last night outdoors at Tanglewood and they were awesome-- better than the last time I saw them in Worcester in 1983. Chrissie Hynde sounds like she's about 25, never better. Maybe it was the thunderstorm that started the concert off, but their energy level was off the charts. Not a lot of stage prattle, just one hard rocking song after another. "Ohio" was great. Go see it!

Pretenders rock MGM Music Hall

5/5

I saw and heard the Pretenders last night July, 19, 2024 at the new MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The band and Chrissie are tight and accomplished, no need to work it too hard, they don't have to making even the fastest demanding stuff look workmanlike. Chrissie's guitar, voice, and stage presence are top of her game. Maybe less passionate than setting out to prove something but 100% able to prove anything. She lets her young excitable boy guitarist take the speed lane but notice the stage as she often is standing dead center with a lot of distance. This is a wom in control and on top of her game. As she has said in the past "we're kind of a Pretenders tribute band." And she and the band did not fail to deliver. Two encores.... felt a little like the audience had to work too hard but... they came back and poured it on. The venue is simply outstanding. I do not think there's a bad seat in the house. I was on main floor and it was either stand with the crowd or cease to view. Great show!
