Nashville celebrates Beethoven's birthday!

In 2020 orchestras around the globe are set to mark the 250th year since the birth of one of history's most important and celebrated composers, Ludwig Van Beethoven. The Grammy winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra joins the party with a special 'Beethoven's Birthday Bash' concert heralding this momentous year, performing three iconic pieces from the musical genius' repertoire!

Beethoven's epic third symphony, Eroica Symphony, is the concert's centrepiece, a daring and energetic work which catapults the listener through a journey of high emotion, certainly one of the most groundbreaking pieces of classical music ever written. The orchestra will also be joined by renowned Irish pianist Barry Douglas OBE to perform Piano Concerto no. 1, another of Beethoven's moving masterpieces.
